Apollo University Lodge No. 357 met on 16th October for its regular meeting with no less than three dispensations to be read!
The first was from the Grand Secretary (the lodge’s Junior Steward), allowing the lodge to meet without its warrant physically present. The second was from the Provincial Grand Master for Oxfordshire (a Past Master and Past Treasurer of the lodge), allowing the lodge to meet outside Oxfordshire and on a date other than that stated in its by-laws. The third was from the Metropolitan Grand Master for London allowing the lodge to meet in London.
Four of the six brethren present can be seen here. The main business was to elect the Master for the ensuing year. The Senior Warden could not be present, but he was elected!
